NHS England and the local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have responsibility for providing medical services outside the normal surgery opening hours.

- Weekends: Friday 6.30pm to 8.00am Monday morning

From 22nd January 2013 the Out of Hours service has been replaced with the NHS 111 service which is a new service that's being introduced to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services. Should you need to speak to a doctor or nurse when the surgery is closed call 111 from your landline.
Your call will be taken by a trained operator at a local call centre who will take some personal details and basic information about your problem.
- Offer advice over the telephone
- Tell you to go to a Primary Care Centre
- Offer a home visit
- Call an ambulance
